We have the largest incarceration rate on the planet.

We’ll continue to see evidence of police abuse, and we’ll continue to see evidence that irresponsible drug abusers wreck innocent lives, validating each sides desire for confirming their biases on how the battle should be won.

Some states are decriminalizing drugs. Others are doubling down. The police state has been hyper militarized from the war on drugs. That’s money the elites don’t want to lose.

Real crime is down, but victimless crime consumes all the resources and attention.

And the horrible but occasional mass shooting drives all the headlines and deepens our unresolvable gun ownership battle.
