CHARLOTTESVILLE, NY - August 12, 2017:

Members of the media photograph a counter protestor beating a man associated with the Unite the Right rally's White Nationalist group just outside the perimeter of Emancipation Park during clashes prior the state police and National Guard forcing all to leave the park before a scheduled rally by the Alt -Right movement led by Richard Spencer and other key figures. The entire "Unite the Right" rally was to be held over controversy and anger of a possible takedown of the statue of the confederate general Robert E. Lee from the American Civil War.
