Suicide Squad is one of the most anticipated DC movie coming out in the near future. It has an all star cast and will feature some of our favorite villians.

Directed David Ayer has released a teaser for the upcoming production, which comes in Jared Leto’s hair. Leto will be playing the Joker and in order to nail down the role he needed a haircut. You can see two photos on JoBlo.com.

The haircut might not seem like the biggest deal to you, but you should remember that Leto had shoulder length hair for years, including during production of The Dallas Buyers Club, which won him an Oscar.

The new do shaves (what a bad pun) about fifteen years off of Leto. This doesn’t bring too much insight into what incarnation of the Joker will be playing, because most versions of the Joker have had short hair over the years.

 David Ayer recently said, Leto’s performance will be “majestic” but one would expect that from the Clown Prince of Crime.

Leto has to bring a very memorable performance to the screen if even wants to come close to touching Heath Ledger’s Joker in The Dark Knight. Nobody thought Ledger would be able to pull of the Joker during production, but he ended up happily surprising everybody. Hopefully Leto brings his own memorable version to the big screen.

Suicide Squad is in production now and is set to hit theaters on August 5th, 2016.
