Former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez was captured on camera dancing at a gas station about an hour and a half before he was accused of killing Odin Lloyd, according to reports.

CNN reported that Hernandez, who pleaded not guilty in the death of the 27-year-old Lloyd who was dating the sister of Hernandez’s fiancee, was captured on security surveillance that was produced in court on Thursday showing him pulling up to a gas station south of Boston shortly after 2 a.m. on June 17, 2013.

He is accompanied by a Carlos Ortiz, who has also plead not guilty in Lloyd’s death, and Ernest Wallace, who is charged with being an accessory after the fact. A white towel around Ortiz’s neck was found at the crime scene, prosecutors say.

The surveillance appears to show Ortiz and Hernandez off balance, and Hernandez even has difficulty with the gas pump hose, according to the report.

After walking into the gas station, Hernandez purchases gum and cigar and then leaves at 2:12 a.m. About 20 minutes later, Lloyd gets into the car with the group outside his house.

Lloyd would later die at an industrial park at 3:30 a.m. after witnesses heard eight loud bangs.

Testimony from the manager of a bar in Providence, Rhode Island, said that Hernandez had dinner that night with his fiancee as well as two couples, where they had dinner as well as 10 cognacs, 10 sex on the beach drinks, and a beer. Customers allegedly complained about Hernandez and another man who had gone to smoke a marijuana cigarette, according to the manager’s testimony. They left after paying a tab of nearly $300 including tip, which Hernandez paid.

After that, he then drove hom and departed with Ortiz and Wallace, and eventually Lloyd. Prosecutors will have Lloyd’s younger sister, Shadquilla Thibou, testify as they say she saw her brother get into the car about an hour before he was killed.
