Chris Pratt is donning his Guardians of the Galaxy costume again – for a good cause.
Pratt, a huge Seattle Seahawks fan, had made a friendly Super Bowl wager with fellow actor Chris Evans, who was rooting for the New England Patriots. Whichever team lost, their superfan promised to visit some kids dressed as their respective action heroes – Pratt to Christopher’s Haven, a non-profit housing organization Evans founded, dressed as Star-Lord, and Evans to a Seattle children’s hospital as Captain America.
Since the New England Patriots proved victorious in Sunday’s nail-biter of a match-up, Pratt has vowed to make good on his end of the bet, tweeting, “Congrats to the world champions @patriots you were the better team tonight. I will be visiting @chris_haven as Starlord.”
Evans thanked Pratt and then decided to pull his Captain America threads out as well!
“Thank you to @prattprattpratt for being a good sport. I’ll be there with you at @chris_haven, and don’t worry @seattlechildren, we’ll be coming there too!” Evans tweeted in response
However, the Patriots fan couldn’t resist adding a final parting shot, commenting, “And lastly, I don’t think anyone can ever doubt the mental toughness of Tom Brady. Tough couple weeks, but he showed why he’s the greatest of all time. #PSIdonthearyounow #anyballanytime.”
Pratt’s wife, actress Anna Faris, was doing her best to get in on the action too. While Pratt and Evans were getting excited for the big show, Faris was trying to understand the complexities of the game. The Mom star put up a photo on Instagram of herself with Pratt, surrounded by beers and oranges and captioned: “Trying to explain the strategy #Superbowl.”
