Alec Baldwin will be writing a memoir, which will be called Nevertheless. He plans on covering everything from his childhood on Long Island to acclaimed work on 30 Rock to  his various run-ins, falling-outs, scuffles and arrests he’s gone through along the way.

“Funny, occasionally combative, often moving,” said, publisher Jonathan Burnham, “He writes about his family, lovers, friends and enemies, confronts his former demons, relives the highs and lows of his career, and opens up in an unflinchingly honest way about his life and times.”

The book will be published by Harper (a part of HarperCollins) and will release in the fall of 2016.

This is not Baldwin’s first memoir. He previously wrote a memoir entitled A Promise to Ourselves: A Journey Through Fatherhood and Divorce, which covered his relationship with Kim Basinger, their separation in 2000, and the custody case of their child.

This was the time period where he angrily called his daughter a “rude, thoughtless little pig” in a phone conversation with TMZ.

This memoir may not be as dramatic as his first, but it will surely be a candid look into the award winning actor’s youth and show what made him the man he is today. It will also be interesting to see what type of experiences he has had with Tina Fey on 30 Rock, since it is considered to have been a well oiled machine.
