Sylvester Stallone, the legendary action film star, is giving the Rambo film series a finale with his new project, which is rumored to be titled, “Last Blood Rambo.”
Information began to circulate about the new and final Rambo film when Stallone started to tweet about his upcoming projects; his tweets revealed that he is planning on also making a spin-off to his Rocky series with a film called “Creed.” Along with “Creed” and “Last Blood Rambo,” the action star plans on making a film based around the infamous mob enforcer and member of the Colombo crime family Gregory Scarpa, called “Scarpa.”
Stallone posted via twitter on December 28th, 2014 about “Last Blood Rambo” and “Scarpa” stating: “Doing Scarpa based on Gangster Greg Scarpa after LAST BLOOD RAMBO…”
Rumors from various sources state that we can expect “Last Blood Rambo” sometime during 2016, and “Creed” and “Scarpa” during 2015.
While information is scarce at the moment on the content of the last and final Rambo film, the german website, The German Outfit, released these details about the film: “With Rambo V Sylvester Stallone returns in his iconic role. This time he goes up against a Mexican cartel. Stallone, who has also written the screenplay, describes the new Rambo as his version of No Country for Old Men. Like the last film, Rambo V is produced by Avi Lerner (The Expendables 1-3).” While the validity of this information is still questionable, it is one of the few leads the general public has on what to expect with “Last Blood Rambo.”
At this moment Stallone has not publicly revealed any information on who will be casted in the fifth Rambo film or who will be directing it. He did however disclose who he plans on having act in his new film “Creed.” “Creed” will be based around the life of the character from the Rocky Series Apollo Creed’s grandson. Creed’s grandson will be played by Michael B. Jordan.
