Justin Bieber voted worst celebrity neighbor of 2014

Justin Bieber has topped real estate site Zillow’s list of worst celebrity neighbors. In an annual Ipsos poll conducted for Zillow, the singing super-brat was voted the least favorable celebrity to live next door to.

Bieber was recently ordered to pay $80,000 to his former neighbor after he defaced his house by throwing eggs at the front door. Additional reports of him throwing loud parties, speeding and becoming violent when confronted led to residents of the gated community in Calabasas, CA where Bieber lives refusing to pay their homeowners association fees until something was done.

Bieber topped the poll with a resounding 34 percent of the vote. Reality star Kim Kardashian and rapper Kanye West came in second, and singer Miley Cyrus was third on Zillow’s list.

“From his frequent run-ins with the law to his over-the-top house parties, Justin Bieber has earned himself quite a bad-boy reputation that only continued to build in 2014,” said Amy Bohutinsky, chief marketing officer for Zillow. “No one wants to live on the same street as someone accused of reckless driving or egging neighboring homes.”

For the second year in a row, Jimmy Fallon came in at No. 1 on the Zillow list of best celebrity neighbors. Country super-couple Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton came in second.

Bohutinsky explained the reasons behind Fallon’s top placement.

“[Fallon] had an incredibly successful first year on ‘The Tonight Show,’ is well-liked by Americans and carries a positive, relatable vibe. Plus who wouldn’t want to live next to someone who makes you laugh?”

36 percent of the 1,005 randomly selected adults surveyed said they wouldn’t want to live next to any of the celebs mentioned in the poll, which was conducted between Dec. 4-8, 2014, via an Ipsos U.S. online omnibus.
