Christoph Waltz has been rumored to play the villian in the new James Bond film 'Spectre.'

James Bond fans received awesome news this morning when huge details about the next 007 film were released. Some of the details released included a synopsis of the film as well as the cast, a poster and even a brand new car.

It was officially announced that the title of the new Bond film, the 24th in the series, will be titled Spectre. The title left fans scratching their heads, wondering what it all meant. Luckily, a few plot details were given that may shed some light.

As far as the plot is concerned, fans were given a little hint of what they can expect in the new Bond adventure. As MGM studios stated, the film follows James Bond after he receives an enigmatic message from his past which launches him on an adventure to uncover an ominous organization. Meanwhile, Agent M is fighting her own battle to keep the secret service alive. An added clue is that S.P.E.C.T.R.E. actually stands for Special Executive for Counter-Intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge and Extortion, which is actually a terrorist group that James Bond has been as war with since the start of the series.

As far as the cast is concerned, actor Daniel Craig will return in the role of 007, the iconic secret agent, while Judi Dench will continue on with her role of M, the leader of MI6. This will be Daniel Craig’s fourth time taking the spot of Bond, with his earlier appearances being in Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace and 2012’s Skyfall. Judy Dench has actually appeared in over five James Bond films. Other Bond regulars set to return include Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Rory Kinnear and Ben Whishaw, all of whom also appeared in Skyfall.

Newcomers to the cast include Christoph Waltz, David Bautista and Léa Seydoux, among others. For a while now Waltz has been rumored to star in the film, with many news outlets predicting that he will play the film’s villain. The actor has created quite a name for himself playing bad guys after his critically acclaimed performance as the primary antagonist in Quentin Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds.

David Bautista, who recently had success as the character Drax in the comic book film  Guardians of the Galaxy, will reportedly be playing the role of the villain, Mr. Hinx, in the film. Finally, actress Léa Seydoux may be playing the love interest in the film. The actress was most recently seen in The Grand Budapest Hotel. Other cast members confirmed for the film include Monica Belucci of The Matrix Reloaded and Andrew Scott of the television show Sherlock.

A new car was also confirmed to be making an appearance in the film as James Bond’s new ride. The car is the Aston Martin DB10, a sleek and stylish vehicle that will no doubt be put through the ringer as Bond fights his battles. Interestingly, the title of the car comes from the fact that only ten of these vehicles will be produced. More details will be released as the arrival of the film approaches.
