Bill Cosby continues to be barraged with sexual assault allegations as two more come forward

Moritz claims that Cosby entered the room and promised super-stardom in exchange for sexual favors.

The ghosts of comedian Bill Cosby’s past continue to emerge as two more women have come forward with allegations of sexual assault against the veteran comedian.

The newest accuser, Renita Chaney Hill, alleges that she was only 15-years-old at the time of her assault. She stated that her altercation occurred when she performed with Cosby on the educational television program Picture Pages. After the shoot, she claims the elder comedian dosed her drink with disabling drugs, after which she passed out after faint memories of Cosby kissing and touching her.

Actress Louisa Moritz also came forward, recalling an assault by the comedian before an appearance on the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson back in 1971. According to the New York Daily News, Moritz claims that she was in a dressing room prior to the appearance when Cosby entered the room and promised super-stardom in exchange for sexual favors.

At least 12 women have come forward with allegations against the comedian since last month when stand-up comedian Hannibal Buress joked about Cosby’s alleged nefarious sexual activities back in the 1970’s and 1980s, bringing the allegations back to the public’s attention. The outcry has caused some negative actions including the cancellation of several of Cosby’s stand up shows. Still, there is a large group that still supports the comedian, with some audiences even giving him standing ovations at many of his shows.

Some celebrities have even come to Cosby’s defense including his former TV daughter, Raven Symone, who denied sexual assault rumors created by parody website Hip-Hop Hangover, stating that she thought it was a disgusting rumor that she wanted no part of.

Of course, Cosby, who has spent a lifetime creating educational children’s television as well as giving many charitable donations, has been denying these rumors since they first began. In an interview, his attorney, John P. Schmitt stated that just because rumors are being repeated does not make them true and also that, “Mr. Cosby does not intend to dignify these allegations with any comment.”
