Police report reveals unbelievable details of drunken Palin family brawl

The Palins haven't commented on the report.

According to the The Associated Press, a police report released on Thursday offers new information about a massive brawl in Anchorage, Alaska, that involved Sarah Palin’s family.

A statement released by the Anchorage Police Department after the September incident, noted that officers responded to  “a report of a verbal and physical altercation taking place between multiple subjects outside of a residence located on the 900 block of Harbor Circle.” The statement also said that “alcohol was believed to have been a factor in the incident” and the “some of the Palin family members were in attendance at the party.”

According to CNN, police do not plan on charging anyone involved in the fight, which took place on September 6 and involved as many as 20 people, but the details offered by Officer John Daily in his official report are incredible.

TMZ notes that Bristol told authorities that Korey Klingenmeyer, the homeowner, called her a “slut” and a “c**t” and initiated the fight. Other witnesses, however, told police that Bristol started the fight and continued punching Korey until he started fighting back. The Daily Beast adds that people at the party were yelling “F**k the Palins!”

According to Buzzfeed, Track Palin was so worked up by the brawl that Sarah had to step in and persuade him to talk to police. When he finally calmed down, he told police that people had the party had disrespected his sisters and that when the Palins tried to leave the house, someone in a group of guys punched his friend. At that point, Track started brawling with the group, taking his shirt off in the process.

Police left without making any arrests, The AP notes, because no one wanted to press any charges. POLITICO points out that Sarah was at the house party when police arrived, but no interview with her is included in the report.

Although the Palin family hasn’t commented on the police report, Sarah defended her daughter via Facebook on September 19.

“I love my Bristol!” the former vice presidential candidate wrote. “My straight-shooter is one of the strongest young women you’ll ever meet. I have to say this as a proud mama: right up there with their work ethic and heart for those less fortunate, my kids’ defense of family makes my heart soar!

“As you can imagine, they and my extended family have experienced so many things (liberal media-driven) that may have crushed others without a strong foundation of faith, and I’m thankful for our friends’ prayer shield that surrounds them, allowing faith to remain their anchor,” she added.
