We all know that Hollywood relationships provide pressure on marriages that often end in disaster, especially on reality T.V. shows that have little or poor integrity to begin with. Having cameras on every angle of your marriage can prove devastating and no notion of this has been spared for Honey Boo Boo couple Mama June and Sugar Bear. June Shannon and Mike Thompson, known as Mama June and Sugar Bear, have been reported by Huffington Post to have separated.

Huffington Post has quotes from the Honey Boo Boo stars to reporters, “Sugar Bear and I have decided to take some time apart to figure out some things in our relationship. We are taking things day by day but regardless of what happens the girls will always be our number one priority. We want to thank y’all for your support.”

Anonymous sources have reported that Thompson, or Sugar Bear, had set up an online profile for a dating website at Plentyoffish.com and had been cheating on Shannon. It had also been mentioned on several entertainment sites that Shannon had been spotted without her wedding ring at multiple occasions.

Interesting enough the pair was actually never married and had only had a commitment ceremony in May 2013. Apparently their love story begins in a chat room some nine years earlier.

Alana Thompson is Shannon and Thompson,s sole child by the pair, while Shannon, or Mama June, has three other daughers, “Pumkin, Chubbs and Chikadee,” or otherwise named, Lauryn, Jessica and Anna.

It has yet to be claimed if the cheating by Thompson was a byproduct of the show, being the pressure or perhaps the fame and women that go along with having a famous T.V. persona. All that can be mentioned for sure is the reality television star’s daughter has another reason to be extremely embarrassed.
