Unfortunately, none of those romps in the sack helped her get a record deal.
Singer Lana Del Ray has worked hard to get where she is, but her efforts haven’t always been rewarded.
“You know, I have slept with a lot of guys in the industry,” she tells Complex magazine, “but none of them helped me get my record deals. Which is annoying.
“I like a hands-on love,” Lana adds. “How can I say this without getting into too much trouble? I like a tangible, passionate love.”
Lana also talked about her critics (of which she has many). Remember, for example, her infamous Saturday Night Live performance in 2012?
“The good thing about catching so much grief from critics is that you literally do not f–king care,” the “F—ed My Way Up to the Top” singer explains to Complex. “It put me in a mind frame where I expect things not to go right, because they generally don’t.”
In addition to discussing her sex life and feelings about critics, Lana reveals her musical influences, including Bob Seger, Nina Simone, Billie Holiday, the Eagles, Chris Isaak, Dennis Wilson and Brian Wilson. She also enjoys Echo and the Bunnymen.
My little comment
