Miley Cyrus denies telling a drunk Jennifer Lawrence to 'get it together'

Miley tweets, and deletes, a denial after Jennifer Lawrence publicizes their drunken Oscar run-in.

Miley Cyrus is now denying that she told the Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence to “get it together” at a recent Oscar party.

Miley Cyrus allegedly told Jennifer Lawrence to “get it together” after a drunk Jennifer Lawrence puked at an after party thrown by Guy Oseary and Madonna. Evidently Jennifer Lawrence’s best friend, Laura Simpson, was blamed as a bad influence and encouraged the pair to drink to excess and have a good time.

Jennifer Lawrence recalled the event on an episode of “Late Night with Seth Meyers.” She described the whole night, before describing how Miley Cyrus looked over to Jennifer Lawrence shortly after she vomited to say that she should “get it together.”

After Jennifer Lawrence told the story in the interview on the Seth Meyers program, Miley Cyrus jumped on Twitter and denied that it ever happened. When a fan responded with a link to the interview, Miley Cyrus deleted her denial tweet, an act many are saying proves that she did make the after party comment in the first place.

It is ironic, of course, that Miley Cyrus is cited to have instructed Jennifer Lawrence to get it together, as Cyrus is probably more famous now from being out of control, than she ever was on her well known Disney show Hannah Montana.

Miley Cyrus has admitted to habitual drug use, performed provocatively on stage, and has cut off her hair in an attention-grabbing stunt. The once clean cut tween star has no room to talk on a subject about a night of drunken debauchery.
