Bill Nye to debate founder of controversial Creation Museum

Tickets to see the event live sold out within two minutes of being released.

Bill Nye “the Science Guy,” CEO of the Planetary Society, is set to debate Creation Museum founder Ken Ham at the Creation Museum on February 4. Nye and Ham will be tackling questions like:  “Is creation a viable model of origins in today’s modern, scientific era?

According to a news release about the event, Nye and Ham will each deliver their opening argument, followed by an opportunity for rebuttal and questions from the audience.

The event is already creating a lot of buzz in the media. Tickets to the event, for example, were completely sold out within two minutes of being released.

“The state-of-the-art 70,000 square foot museum brings the pages of the Bible to life, casting its characters and animals in dynamic form and placing them in familiar settings,” reads a description of the Creation Museum.

The debate is set to be held in the Legacy Hall lecture arena at the Creation Museum.
