Justin Bieber: I handle fame like Jay-Z

Justin Bieber: I handle fame like Jay-Z

Bieber talks fame.

If anyone has been worried about Justin Bieber’s well-being after the last few months, fret no longer. Bieber has opened up in the May issue of Teen Vogue where he discusses all the recent rumors, his closest friends and the pro and cons of being the biggest personality on Twitter.

2013 has been off to a rough start for Bieber. Trouble started in February when Bieber graced the streets of London in a spiked, bright yellow hat and saggy leopard print pants. The media had a hay-day with it, so Bieber responded by leaving his hotel shirtless the next day with, still sagging, leather sweatpants.

Justin had a concert on March 4, 2013, to which he was two hours late. He tried to assure his booing fans that he was really only forty minutes late and reminded them that his life is “not easy”. Tabloids hit Bieber hard as they speculated the real reason for Bieber’s strange behavior and wondered if rehab was far off. The following night, he collapsed on stage and had to receive oxygen.

Along with these crazy happenings, Bieber has been seen wearing a gas mask (multiple times), dealt with more Selena Gomez questions (did his Disney ex dis him via YouTube while dancing with friends?!), lunged at a photographer and had to be restrained by his bodyguard, and possibly worst of all – he was compared to Lindsay Lohan!

So has Bieber officially crossed over to the Dark Side? Is he just another teen star gone bad? Bieber assures his fans that he is fine and that his life is perfectly under control.

“My Twitter is really nice,” he said. “I have so many fans that I rarely ever see a nasty tweet. I don’t read YouTube comments because those can get you sad. I see so much stuff on the Internet, sometimes I just want to go to Twitter and just go after people. But then I just think twice: If someone is dissing me, I’m going to make this person way more famous by tweeting them.”

He is trudging past all the negative comments and gossip and, instead, just focusing on the positives of his life such as his close circle of friends.
