Ripa  has a secret she wants everyone to know: She uses Botox and she loves it.

The morning show host has reportedly revealed her secret in an interview with Elle, saying   she gets occasional shots of Botox in her armpits to help her avoid sweating, and she also uses Botox to spruce up her eyelashes.

“Every seven months or so my eyelid skin rests on my eyelashes,” Ripa said. “So I feel like it makes my makeup artist’s life easier, and it makes my eyes look a little more open on TV, which is where I happen to work right now.”

Ripa, who has recently sold her New York home for $24.5 million, also noted that she is already considering retiring from television in order to focus more on producing. The morning show host has already had a hand in producing “Cheer” on CMT and “Dirty Soap on E!, and she says she has enjoyed the process enough to considering moving on from her television stint in New York.

Ripa’s confession comes just months after former NFL star Michael Strahan joined Live! With Kelly and Michael. Recent rating numbers show Ripa Strahan’s ratings soaring to a 2.8 rating in total households, edging out Dr. Phil, which had maintain the title of leading talk shows since the season began thirteen weeks ago.

Ripa is the latest television star to admit to Botox. Chef and restaurant mogul Gordon Ramsay has admitted having Botox treatments in order to maintain his youthful appearance on television. Some celebrities, including Nicole Kidman and Kathy Griffin, have taken Botox.

In case you are wondering about receiving Botox treatments, you should first check with your doctor. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced last month that it had sent out warning letters to 350 medical practices, warning about the risk of using Botox bought from a Canadian supplier called Canada Drugs.
