Rapper Jay-Z and the equally-talented Beyonce spend $1 million a year on daughter Blue Ivy’s nursery at the Barclays Center, according to Us Weekly.

“Jay rents a luxurious basement suite for $1 million a year,” a source told Us Weekly. “It has an area for Blue filled with toys.”

Jay’s daughter isn’t the only one with a pricey pad in the Barclays Center, according to a new issue of the magazine. Jay’s pad, which is reportedly the priciest of 11 spaces for rent, has everything that the rapper and his friends could ever want.

“It’s all glass with a champagne bar and TV screen,” the source revealed to the magazine. “Jay lets friends use his digs when he’s not there.”

Jay-Z and his wife have spared no expense for Blue Ivy.

Although a spokesman for the Lenox Hill Hospital, where Blue was delivered last January, denied this report, The New York Daily News learned that Beyonce and Jay-Z paid $1.3 million to rent out the entire fourth floor of the hospital for their first child’s birth.

The same hospital staffer that told the Daily News that Beyonce checked into the hospital under the name “Ingrid Jackson” also spilled the beans on the couple’s expensive fourth-floor birthing zone.

While rappers are known for their lavish lifestyles, Jay-Z and Beyonce’s nursery rental seems to take the cake. Jay and his wife won’t be digging too deep into their pocketbooks to pay for their daughter’s fancy nursery, however, as the rapper’s net worth is $475 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth.

The couple has already admitted that Blue Ivy will have a privileged lifestyle. “I imagine I’ll take things I learned from my mom and things I’ve learned from raising my nephews and apply that,” Jay told OWN’s “Oprah’s Master Class: Special Edition” last May. “Then at the end of the day, I just know I’ll probably have the worst, spoiled little kid ever.”

Regardless of the cost of Blue’s pricey nursery, Forbes reports that Jay-Z’s involvement in the Barclays Center is likely to boost his bottom line. Even though Jay has plenty of ways to make money (the website notes that he has received $3 million to perform at birthdays), the rapper will likely turn a profit from all the different ways that he has invested in the new arena.

Forbes points out that the champagne at the Barclays Center’s bar, which Jay picked out, is the $300-per-bottle Armand de Brignac in which the rapper has a financial interest. In addition to his small stakes in both the Brooklyn Nets and the Barclays Center, Jay is also likely to turn a fantastic profit from his sold-out concerts at the new arena. Forbes estimates that his eight shows will bring in approximately $15 million, giving him take-home pay of $5 million.

One thing is for sure, if Blue Ivy has half the musical talent of her mom and half the business savvy of her dad, she will be extremely successful.

Apparently, Jay-Z made a short documentary about his experience concert series at the Barclays Center:
