Megan Fox: First pregnancy was like ‘birthing a vampire’

Megan Fox talks about baby Noah.

Megan Fox has been on the talk show circuit this week, making appearances on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” and “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.” Speaking with Jay on Monday, Ms. Fox said that her first pregnancy was so painful that she thought she was “birthing a vampire.”

“Like the one from ‘Twilight,’” Ms. Fox told Leno. “You know, what happens to Bella, where she’s in cold sweats all the time. I felt like that was happening because I had no vitamins and nutrients and I was just nauseous.”

Now that her painful pregnancy is over, she enjoys seeing her son Noah grow bigger but thinks that he looks mostly like her husband.

“He looks, I would say, 70 percent like Brian,” Megan told Ms. DeGeneres in an interview that is set to air on Wednesday, according to US Magazine. “He was his identical twin when he came out, recently he’s been getting chubbier and everyone’s like ‘Oh, he’s so chubby – now he looks like you.'”

Ms. Fox secretly welcomed son Noah on September 27, 2012, according to The Huffington Post UK. The “Transformers” actress and her husband, Brian Austin Green, were able to keep Noah’s birth a secret because Hollywood star Reese Witherspoon went into labor at the same time.

Ms. Fox told Ellen that she was able to give birth at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, while the paparazzi were occupied following Ms. Witherspoon.

“I got in and out. I left the next day and nobody knew. It was a big secret for three weeks,” Ms. Fox said.

While the Hollywood actress still has not shared a photo of her first child, she turned to Facebook to thank God for a “healthy, happy and perfect” child.

“He is healthy, happy, and perfect,” Ms. Fox wrote in a Facebook post shortly after her son’s birth. “We are humbled to have the opportunity to call ourselves the parents of this beautiful soul and I am forever grateful to God for allowing me to know this kind of boundless, immaculate love.”

Ms. Fox recently told Britain’s Daily Mirror that she will be more cautious about what film roles she accepts in the future now that she is a mom.

“I’m going to be more cautious about choosing films because I’m already thinking about when he’s in school and his friends are going to be showing him my photo shoots with me in a bikini and he’s going to be horrified,” the actress said. “So that will deter me from making some of the choices I made before.”

According to IMDb, Ms. Fox is set to appear in Judd Apatow’s “This is 40,” which will be released in the U.S. on December 21, 2012.
