The violence that has plagued Israel for more than a month continued on Monday as several people were attacked and stabbed by Palestinians inside Israel.

A Russian Metrojet Airbus A 321 went down in Egypt’s Sinai Desert with 224 passengers and crew aboard. First responders to the scene believe there are no survivors.

Another knife attack was reported in Jerusalem that has left at least two people dead. Tensions continue to mount there between Israeli’s and Palestinians over territorial disputes.

Syrian forces launched a rocket attack into an open air market in the small town of Douma. The attack killed at least 40 people and severely wounded hundreds of others.
