One of Conan O'Brian's writers looses his cool on Twitter and start trash talking other late night hosts.
One of the writers for the Conan O’Brien show went off on a Twitter rant about the late night rivals that compete with O’Brien’s show. O’Brien decided to call out his writer via Twitter by saying that he wished that his writer would focus on making his show funnier instead of focusing on the situation of late night comedy.
It was reported on Monday that write Andre de Bouchet made several dumps on other late night shows on Twitter. Bouchet mostly trashed on celebrity-involved skits that other late night hosts are using to get more ratings.
Most of the trash talking was aimed at Jimmy Kimmel and James Corden. Bouchet tweeted that “comedy needs severe mother — shakeup.” He continued by saying that comedy does not need celebrities, parodies, hash tag wars, or pranks. Bouchet concluded by saying “I’m fat.”
The writer also slammed on celebrity lip syncing, which is highly used by Jimmy Fallon. Bouchet posted on Twitter for Fallon “to shove it up his a–.”
Conan O’Brien responded with a tweet of his own, claiming that the writer was losing focus. Soon after, Bouchet tweeted an apology and erased many of his posts. Most of the trash talking was done on Friday, and the writer posted his apologies on Sunday.
The writer admitted on one of this tweets that he was a “bloviating elitist windbag.” Andre De Bouchet has been writing for Conan O’Brien since 2009.
