Members of Lady Antebellum escaped from their bus which caught on fire safely on Thursday morning. A video, taken from a helicopter by local news near Dallas, Texas, showed firefighters spraying the black bus on the side of the highway with water.

It was reported that the lead singer Hillary Scott posted a message on Facebook stating that everyone on board the bus was safe. The bus caught on fire while the country group was on the road to Dallas for their next gig. Everyone evacuated before the flames engulfed the vehicle.

As told by Scott on Facebook, the bus’ tire caught on fire. In the post, she thanked those who helped put out the fire out and keep everyone on board the bus safe. She claimed that the people onboard were her husband, the tour manager, the driver, and herself.

She later posted a photo of the only thing that survived the fire untouched—her Bible. The singer of Lady Antebellum went on to post that everything that belonged to them in the bus was taken over by the flames. She said that everything was destroyed except her Bible.

It turned out that the outside cover of her Bible burned but not the pages inside. She ended her post by saying, “Yall, God’s Word will always stand.”

The country band is currently on their Wheels Up Tour, and Dallas was their next destination before the fire incident occurred. Additionally, Lady Antebellum is a nominee at the Academy of Country Music Awards for the Vocal Group of the Year. The awards show will air on Sunday via CBS.
