Justin Bieber's heated exchange with security allegedly leads to chokehold and water bottled shoved in his face.
Bieber was denied backstage entrance to his good friend Drake’s Coachella show in Indio, California. The teen heartthrob and his crowd showed festival security that they had the proper wristbands to gain entry, and began to argue with the security, insisting that if he were to stand in the audience, he would be attacked. His persistence began to annoy security, and he was ordered to leave, according to TMZ.
Although he was told to leave, Bieber apparently continued to say that he had been personally invited by Drake and had been waiting all weekend to see the him perform. TMZ claims a Coachella staffer came up to the singer and said she would escort him inside the artist’s area, and grabbed Bieber by the arm before walking him and his security inside.
Coachella security then reportedly came up behind and put Bieber in a chokehold. As a result, the singer’s security argued and got into an fight with Coachella security, and the singer was then ordered to leave the entire festival. TMZ claimed Bieber left voluntarily, and he is considering taking legal action against the security guards.
Most of the alleged eyewitnesses’ details differ, but the claim that Justin Bieber and his bodyguards were allegedly involved in a heated exchange with festival marshalls was mentioned in many tweets posted after the Drake’s headliner show.
Many of the tweets claim that Drake’s security refused entry to everyone, including rapper Will.I.Am, which led to the chaotic scrum.
Twitter user @maddie, who claims she went to the Drake show, said someone tried to take a picture of Bieber then shoved a bottle of water in the singer’s face, in which the Bieber frustratingly threw the bottle to the side. The bottle did not hit anyone, nor was it thrown with the intention of hitting anyone.
