Television personality and Midwife Jill Duggar gave birth to a baby boy on Monday. Duggar and her husband Derick Dillard have welcomed their first child together.
As reported, Israel David was born on Monday, April 6. Israel’s birth was announced on Facebook through the Duggar family account. “We are so thankful for a healthy Mom and baby!” said the Facebook account.
A week ago, it was blogged by 26-year-old Derick Dillard that Duggar was in labor, only to turn out that it was only contractions. During the weekend, Dillard added that they were going to have an “Easter baby.”
Duggar, 23, told ABC network , back in April, that her parents wanted as many kids as they could have or, at least, as many as God will give them. She added that she was excited to see what God had in store for her.
Jill Duggar, from the 19 Kids and Counting show, also said to Us Weekly she was super excited, and she prayed with her husband Dillard once they found out they were pregnant. The Midwife thanked God for her baby. She also mentioned that it took three pregnancy tests to find out.
For the baby shower, Duggar registered for pacifiers, wipes, and diapers. The couple also reportedly asked for orange Gatorade and gift cards to Olive Garden and Subway.
Once Israel was born, many family members sent their best wishes to Duggar and Dillard. Duggar’s sister expressed her wishes through Instagram congratulating the couple. Jill Duggar also received best wishes from her grandparents through the family Facebook.
