The time has arrived for Bruce Jenner to speak his piece in regard to the many recent changes regarding his outward appearance and the ongoing rumors that he is in transition to become a woman.
While certain key indicators such as nail polish, longer hair, change in clothing and departure from the show which put him back on the public landscape, making him a target for the media at large, there has been no definitive answer from the Olympic athlete/reality star/father of three.
His children: Kylie Jenner, Kendall Jenner and Brody Jenner have all embraced life in the limelight, starring on reality shows like Keeping Up with the Kardashians, along with Brody Jenner’s jaunt on hit show The Hills and Laguna Beach.
As of late, Bruce Jenner has come under fire for his recent apparent changes and transition to womanhood. Finally, after much speculation and questioning coming from the public, along with the Kardashian clan, Bruce Jenner will break his silence and speak out publicly, on his own behalf, on the Diane Sawyer show, set to air on April 24.
As Newsday reports: “The two-hour special, “Bruce Jenner – The Interview,” will feature what the network called a “far-ranging” talk with the former Olympian, who has been the subject of long-standing reports that he is transitioning to womanhood. The interview will run as a special edition of ABC’s ongoing news show “20/20.”
A quote from Bruce’s mother, Esther Jenner, 88, was included in the Newsday article, stating, “I never thought I could be more proud of Bruce when he reached his goal in 1976, but I’m more proud of him now. It takes a lot of courage to do what he’s doing.”
Despite ongoing rumors that the transition may simply be an elaborate media ploy to boost viewership and maintain his connection to the spotlight as he has exited his family’s show, the possibility that this is not a publicity stunt and that Bruce Jenner, former Olympian, man of the house in the Kardashian clan, is in fact transitioning to womanhood.
Tune in to Diane Sawyer’s April 24 interview to find out the story in his words.
