Rumer Willis takes center stage on ‘Dancing with the Stars’

Fans and judges alike were shocked to discover the level of talent residing within the child of famed action star Bruce Willis, 59, and talented beauty, ex-wife Demi Moore, 52. Turns out Rumer has a few tricks of her own. After last night’s performance, fans are predicting that Rumer, 26, has the chance of taking the crowned glory of winning the challenging dance competition.

On Monday night, Rumer took home the highest score (32), along with her partner Val Chmerkovskiy, “and she earned every point,” according to the Huffington Post. Certainly an impressive way to start the season.

Her long, slender legs and long, gorgeous arms moved swiftly and gracefully to the immensely popular “Take Me To Church,” by Irish artist Hozier. The same song had been recently characterized by rebellious male Russian ballerina, Sergei Polunin, covered in tattoos in a loft, streaming with luminous light. Perhaps Rumer took a cue from the Polunin and gave the song a spin of her own. It certainly was a spin!

“Where have you been? That was incredible,” judge Carrie Ann Inaba effused, as she gave the dance a remarkable review, exalting the passion and heart behind the performance.

It hasn’t been easy for Rumer in recent years, with the divorce of her mother and longtime stepdad, Ashton Kutcher. Along with Demi’s rumored trips to rehab and battles with depression, Rumer has had to stay strong for her younger sister and provide a good example for the Willis clan.

Serving as a powerful example of life lived in artistic expression, Rumer commands the stage with her raven-haired bob (which probably allows for faster moves on the dance floor), along with her long, flowing, pink, cleavage-bearing gown. To accentuate the romantic mood, Rumer adorned herself with a dusty pink flower in her hair. Like a woman taken completely with her lover, she danced the foxtrot to a song about equality in and out of the bedroom.

Glad they took it to the dance floor.
