It is the first of many scheduled birthday celebrations for Justin Bieber, but this one occurred on his 21st birthday, and took place on a private Caribbean island that the singer reported rented just for his special day, Sunday, March 1. Bieber, who has been in the news regularly for alcohol-related shenanigans, can finally drink legally.

Pictures and videos of the big event show Bieber dancing around shirtless while sipping champagne, beautiful young women joining him in many of the shots. Former flame Yovanna Ventura attended, and the model is shown with Bieber in some very cozy pics. Hailey Baldwin, also rumored to have dated the birthday boy, was also in attendance, and also appeared in some very friendly-looking pictures. Many are wondering if Bieber is returning to previous girlfriends since splitting up with Selena Gomez last summer.

Bieber has recently been trying to tone down his reputation with appearances on shows like Ellen DeGeneres, where he claimed that his “bad boy” image is just a misunderstanding. After the last year, with allegations of drunk driving, arrests for egg throwing, strippers, hookers, a horrible dye job, and other spoiled brat sorts of activities, it may be difficult to convince the public that it was a mistake, or that he can actually clean up his image. It may be that the Canadian singer is just trying to change his ways to avoid prison or deportation.

All evidence shows that Sunday was not the day to begin toning things down. Bieber also has birthday celebrations booked in Las Vegas’ Caesars Palace on March 14. He will also be toasted on The Comedy Central, in a special The Roast of Justin Bieber.
