She’s singing a new song about motherhood. 28-year-old actress Naya Rivera, best known for her starring role as Santana on Glee, announced her pregnancy on Tuesday night.

The actress posted a photo of a graphic showing a “bun in the oven” to her personal blog and to her Instagram. On the blog she wrote, “Surprise! We’re having a baby! Ryan and I feel so blessed and can’t wait to welcome the newest member of our family.” She also included childhood photos of herself and her husband.

As US Weekly reported, Rivera made headlines last year with her wedding to actor Ryan Dorsey in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. The pair married on Saturday, July 19, 2014, which was not only Dorsey’s 31^st birthday but Rivera’s original wedding date with her ex, rapper Big Sean. Rivera and Big Sean had split only 3 months prior to her marriage to Dorsey. The wedding was a surprise to many friends and fans, who did not learn the couple, who had been friends for four years, were even dating until the ceremony.

On Valentine’s Day, Rivera had posted a photo of their wedding to Instagram revealing a closer look at her long-sleeved lace wedding dress as the couple embraced. She wrote, “Happy Valentine’s Day to the best husband in the world! I love you!”

Rivera’s show Glee is in its final season and recently showed her character’s wedding to her long time love interest Brittany, played by Heather Morris.

The due date for the baby has yet to be announced.
