Not all of Hollywood was at the Oscars. Bobbi Kristina Brown’s family spent LA’s most celebratory weekends arguing with her boyfriend Nick Gordon over visitation rights.

Bobbi Kristina remains in a coma after being found unresponsive in a bathtub earlier this month. Before the incident, she had claimed to be married to her long-time boyfriend (and former unofficial foster brother) Gordon, but during her illness it was revealed they had not legally wed.

TMZ reported on Saturday night that Gordon was pleading with Brown’s family, especially her father Bobby, to allow him to visit her with the hope of getting her to respond. Gordon had tweeted, “Let me in the hospital to see my girl and let her hear my voice SHE WILL WAKE UP!”

However, Bobby Brown’s lawyer told TMZ that, “Mr. Gordon was offered an opportunity to potentially visit Bobbi Kristina and he declined to meet the terms of any possible visit.” Those terms were not specified, but TMZ speculates they relate to the fact that Gordon is the subject of a police investigation about marks found on Bobbi Kristina’s body.

Gordon has responded by telling TMZ that he was advised against meeting the “terms” by his legal team but has repeatedly offered to meet with Bobby Brown in private to clear the air.

Bobbi Kristina’s condition remains serious.
