Kim Kardashian is the latest of female celebrities to get a “lob”, the short name for the haircut more formally called the long bob. The reality star is known for rocking long flowing locks so the move is quite a departure from her signature style. She alerted the world to the new by posting a selfie of her shoulder length hairdo on Instagram with the caption “I cut my hair short today”.

Kim has mixing things up as of late, also showing off a very different side to her modeling skills in recent spreads like the one she did for Love Magazine. The shots are decidedly more edgy and artsy than a lot of the stuff she has done in the past. Then there is of course the fact that she continues to get naked in them, and she is doing it well.

For the Spring/Summer issue of Love Kim was interviewed by model Cara Delevingne, and the interview portion is just as interesting as the photographs. Kim reveals that Kanye loves her to dress sexy, that daughter North West will never have a glitter obsession, and that her late father actually taught her to drive when she was only 14.

“Kourtney had just turned 16 and he told me: ‘You never know if she and her friends are going to get drunk, so you have to go with her and hang out with her, and you always have my permission to drive them home if any of them are drinking.’ … So I became the official driver,” she said.

As for the glitter:

“I was obsessed with glitter, rhinestone heels and the kind of clothes that I now laugh at, and he threw them all out. I said, ‘Well I’m going to save them for my daughter one day.’ And he said, ‘Well if it’s going to our daughter, she never going to wear those!'”
