According to People, Johnny Depp will become a married man this weekend after a yearlong engagement with his fiancee and future wife Amber Heard.

The two lovebirds won’t be planning a low-key wedding, as they will be having their romantic celebration on Depp’s private island in the Bahamas that he purchased back in 2004. This tropical paradise is 45-acres.

“I don’t think I’d ever seen any place so pure and beautiful,” Depp shared with Vanity Fair. “You can feel your pulse rate drop about 20 beats. It’s instant freedom.”

“Amber and Johnny are really happy,” a source revealed to E! News just last month. “And their relationship is in a really good place.”

The two actors met in 2011 on the set of the movie The Rum Diary. Amber Heard is 28, while Depp is now 51 years old.

While this will be Amber Heard’s first marriage, this will be Jonny Depp’s second. The Pirates of the Caribbean star divorced from French singer and actress Vanessa Paradis in 2012 after 14 years of marriage. They have a daughter, Lily-Rose, 15, and a son Jack, 12.
