Dr. Myles Munroe, internationally renowned preacher, author, motivational speaker, teacher and business coach, died in a plane crash at the age of 60. All nine passengers in the accident were killed, including Munroe’s wife and co-pastor Ruth Ann Munroe.

“The Department of Civil Aviation has been advised unofficially that the aircraft was destroyed and that there were no survivors,” read a statement from the Ministry of Transport and Aviation.

While the cause of the crash is still unknown, the plane was transporting the passengers to this week’s Global Leadership Forum, which was organized by Myles Munroe. The small Lear 36 Executive Jet crashed while attempting to land at Grand Bahama International Airport after departing from the Bahamian capital Nassau.
