The singer shared his thoughts via Twitter on Monday morning.
At least it’s a different kind of controversy? Singer Chris Brown, a recent parolee, has made headlines once again but this time for a more global matter by sharing his conspiracy theories via twitter.
Early Monday morning, Brown tweeted, “I don’t know…but I think this Ebola epidemic is a form of population control. S*** is getting crazy bruh.” He then tweeted, “let me shut my black a** up!”
According to the LA Times, ebola has hit western Africa hard, especially within Sierra Leone, Liberia, and Guinea. The WHO released their statistics on Monday reporting over 4,000 people in Africa have died from the disease. The majority of them have been black, which is perhaps what spurred Brown’s conspiracy theory.
Two people have been diagnosed within the United States, both in Texas. The first, Thomas Eric Duncan, had traveled to Dallas from Liberia while asymptomatic, and passed away October 8. The second is a currently unidentified nurse who cared for Duncan at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital.
The LA Times reports no cases of ebola have been found in Los Angeles, where Brown lives.
