Tina Seals has claimed to be the alleged surrogate of Jay-Z and Beyonce’s daughter Blue Ivy, and has began a lawsuit against the power couple to gain custody and parental rights of the toddler. It has been reported by Hollywood Life who met with an expert on maternity lawsuits to investigate the possibility of Seal gaining custody of Blue Ivy.

Seals has officially claimed that she carried and gave birth to Blue Ivy and now she wants custody. Matrimonial family expert Leslie Barbara let her expertise to Hollywood Life about the actual possibility of the acclaimed surrogate gaining custody of the child she supposedly carried. There are circumstances where a surrogate can win custody of the child she carries, Barbara was quoted saying, ” It is entirely possible that a surrogate could come in and have rights to a child. Even if rights were relinquished in a contract.”

In the state of New York, paid surrogacy has been illegal since 1992 after a women named Mary Beth Whitehead refused to sign away her parental rights after giving birth to the child of William and Elizabeth Stern. Whitehead eventually won parental rights and visitation rights. If Seals could somehow prove to the court that Jay-Z and Beyonce paid her for her surrogacy, Barbara believe she might have a legitimate case.

However there are two major flaws in Seals lawsuit. The first being the medical documents and proof of Beyonce carrying the child and giving birth to Blue Ivy, the second is it has already been reported by Inquisitor Seals has already claimed to be the surrogate mother of several celebrities, including North West, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s baby girl.
