Teen Appears on Dr. Phil, Now Prosecutors Want Maximum Sentence for Jared Fogle

Indiana prosecutors plan to seek maximum prison sentence for Jared Fogle after an alleged teen victim, known as Analissa, appeared on the "Dr. Phil" show.

Indiana prosecutors say they plan to seek the maximum prison sentence against the former Subway pitchman Jared Fogle for charges of sex with minors and child pornography. Fogle has been awaiting sentencing for a plea deal he agreed to. The prosecutors decided to seek the maximum prison sentence when a teen appeared on Dr. Phil and accused Fogle’s business partner of grooming her for sex.

Prosecutors want Fogle to be sentenced to 12 years in prison and pay $1.4 million to each girl he secretly filmed. According to court documents there are 14 girls who were secretly filmed in pornography viewed by Fogle. The same day prosecutors announced this a Dr. Phil episode premiered where a teen said Fogel’s business partner “brainwashed and manipulated” her into having sex.

The only name given for the teen is Analissa. She told Dr. Phil that when she was 14 years old she was groomed to have sex with the former executive director of the Jared Foundation, Russell Taylor. She said that she would frequently be at Taylor’s home, he would give her alcohol and he often made sexually suggestive comments. Analissa told Dr. Phil “(He) had me convinced that when I turned 16 I was going to have sex with him.”

During the investigation into Taylor, Analissa and her mother first realized he had cameras hidden throughout his house, even in bathrooms and bedrooms. She told Dr. Phil that she often took her clothes off to change her clothes or take a shower in rooms where cameras were hidden.

The former executive director, Taylor, remains in federal custody after a failed suicide attempt days after his arrest for possessing and producing child pornography. Analissa told Dr. Phil that Taylor never actually had sex with her. She approached Dr. Phil after she saw an episode a few weeks ago that exposed secret audio recordings of Jared Fogle talking to the FBI about being attracted to minors and how he sexually manipulated them.

On the show Analissa said she wanted to speak out as her way of supporting other victims. She told Dr. Phil “He took my happiness, he took my trust, he took my pride.”
