On Saturday the Islamic State took full responsibility for the murderous and horrifying attacks in Paris. They told the world that it was just the beginning of a storm that was coming.
On Saturday, The Islamic State declared full responsibility for the bombing attacks and murderous rampage that engulfed Paris on Friday night. They publicly declared that the terror attacks on the French capital were just the “first of the storm.”
The claims, as well as other declarations, were broadcasted by the Islamic State over their encrypted accounts and were sent out in several languages, according to The New York Times. The declarations were released through Twitter. They called Paris, and the French people, “the capital of prostitution and obscenity…” The statements were released out on the same encrypted channel that the Islamic State had used to take credit for bringing down the Russian Metrojet two weeks ago that left 224 people murdered.
President of France, Francois Hollande, blamed the Islamic State for the violent murders and bombings and said that their action were “an act of war” against France and its people. Excerpts from the Islamic State statements said that, “Eight brothers, wrapped in explosive belts and armed with machine rifles, targeted sites that were accurately chosen in the heart of the capital of France…including the Stade de France during the match between the Crusader German and French teams, where the fool of France, Francois Hollande, was present…”
The Islamic State communique also went on to say, “Let France and those who walk in its path know that they will remain on the top of the list of targets of the Islamic State.”
The Islamic State had splintered with al-Qaeda a few years ago believing that al-Qaeda was not radical or murderous enough. The attacks on Paris bore all of the hallmarks of an Islamic State attack as it goes firmly against al-Qaeda’s manual for attacks which prohibits killing indiscriminately so as to not directly endanger Muslim civilians or women and children.
All of the gathered intelligence points to the Paris attacks having been planned with the precision of a military type of operation. In addition, the world wide celebration by supporters of the Islamic State point to the attacks as having been organized and in the works for quite some time.
