Kansas judge kicks white supremacist out of court during his own trial

After a week, the F. Glenn Miller Jr. capital murder trails took a surprising turn.

On Monday morning, the judge in the F. Glenn Miller Jr. trial ejected Miller from the courtroom due to disrespectful outbursts in direct reaction to jury instructions, according to the Kansas City Star.

At the time Miller was demanded to be removed from the courtroom, the jurors who ignited Miller’s outburst were not present.

With every jury instruction, Miller objected. District Judge Kelly Ryan proceeded to read the jury’s instructions, constantly interrupted by Miller, including routine instructions not specific to his trial, but used in every criminal trial.

Miller’s “defense” to his outburst was that he believed the instructions, that guide jurors during deliberations, were unconstitutional. Miller called Ryan dictatorial and he expressed that he did not respect anybody in the courtroom.

After a 30 minute recess called by Ryan, he warned Miller that if he made one more outburst, he would be removed for the rest of the trial completely. At that time, he explained, Miler’s standby counsel would take over his defense.

Miller, 74, is a resident of Aurora, Missouri. He openly admitted to killing Terri LaManno, William Corporcon and Reat Underwood on April 13, 2014. For the crimes, he faces the death penalty, but if not convicted with capital punishment, the jury has the decision of whether to find him guilty of first-degree or second-degree murder.

On Friday, he testified and justified his acts because of his belief that Jewish people are trying to destroy the “white race” so his actions were in dense. The three people he killed outside the Jewish Community Center and Village Shalom care center in Overland Park were not Jewish.

One of Miller’s random outbursts were after Ryan explained the jury instructions of their option to find Miller guilty of first-degree or second-degree murder if they opt out of convicting him of capital murder.
