Jim Carrey slams California governor over vaccination law

The famous comedic actor called Governor Jerry Brown a "corporate fascist" after a law was passed that requires the majority of children to be vaccinated in order to go to public or private schools.

Jim Carrey took to Twitter to hammer the governor of California after a controversial new law passed that would essentially bar children that had not been vaccinated from attending private or public schools.

The popular actor of films such as “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind” and “Bruce Almighty,” to name just a few, has an autistic child and is part of a vaccination movement that believes there is evidence linking autism and vaccinations, according to an Independent report.

Carrey called Brown a “corporate fascist” in his Twitter comments, which were in regards to a new bill that removes the exemption for religious or personal beliefs when it comes to the requirement for vaccines, and therefore only children with serious health issues will be able to refuse the vaccines and still attend school.

Carrey said that Brown was essentially agreeing to poison children with toxins by signing the bill. He added that he was not anti-vaccine, but against thimerosal and mercury, which he said are used in vaccines despite being unsafe.

He urged readers to visit traceamounts.com to watch a documentary on the issue, again reiterating that he was “pro-vaccine” but “anti-neurotoxins.”

Brown, on the other hand, argued that vaccines protect children and the “science is clear” about that, according to the report.

He said he signed the bill that while all medical interventions present some risks, there is evidence that such immunization “protects the community.”

California joins just two other states in removing the religious and personal exemptions regarding vaccines.
