Arnold Schwarzenegger says most recent Terminator movie ‘didn’t count’

Paramount Pictures had Arnold Schwarzenegger preview 'Terminator: Genisys' at the CinemaCon 2015 in Las Vegas.

On Tuesday, CinemaCon 2015 opened and Paramount Pictures enlisted Arnold Schwarzenegger and Tom Cruise to preview their upcoming movies. Paramount also had a ball introducing their upcoming projects at the convention to movie fans.

As reported, Schwarzenegger had a simple entrance when introduced to the CinemaCon crowd. It was said that the Terminator star wanted a grand entrance but things did not go his way.  Instead, Schwarzenegger made his entrance by simply walking in with a tough leather jacket.

The Terminator star was there to hype up the crowd for the upcoming Paramount film, Terminator: Genisys.  The action star introduced 12 minutes of footage from his new movie coming out on July 1.

It was announced that the movie was made to kick off a new trilogy for the Terminator universe. Out of the four movies that were made so far, Schwarzenegger claims that the first three are the only ones that count.

Of course, Schwarzenegger did not act in the fourth one, despite seeing a CGI 1984 version of him in that last movie starring Christian Bale. Eventually, Schwarzenegger passed the attention to Paramount Vice Chairman Rob Moore, who talked about the upcoming movies and projects that Paramount will be work on for the next few years.

Then, it was Tom Cruise that went up and did his gig for his upcoming movie “Mission: Impossible — Rogue Nation.” Cruise introduced a couple of scenes from the upcoming movie and talked about it with the crowd.

Cruise talked about the stunts involved in the movie and how he coped with certain shots, since Cruise does his own stunts. The star told the crowd that he was during the stunt that involved the actor hanging on to an Airbus A400 while taking off. Tom Cruise’s movie comes out on July 31.
