Witness in Suge Knight trial refuses to testify in fear of being a ‘snitch’

Cle “Bone” Sloan said that he will not testify against rap mogul Suge Knight for the murder of Terry Carter who died from being run over by a vehicle. Knight is being held for the murder of Carter who supposedly ran the man over with his vehicle on January 29th of this year.

As reported on Monday, Sloan was also at the incident of Carter’s death. Sloan was the man who punched Knight through the car window during an implication about a biopic about famous rap group N.W.A.

Sloan was also hit by the car and sustained many bodily injuries. However, at court, Sloan stated that his memory was foggy and does not remember specific moments of the incident. He also said that he does not want to be a snitch and put Suge Knight in prison.

Knight’s lawyer, Max Fletcher, presented Sloan as the aggressor of the incident and Knight acted in self defense. Cle “Bone” Sloan agreed that Knight did not attack first, but Sloan did deny that he had a gun as he was accused by Fletcher of having one in the confrontation.

It was also reported that Judge Ronald Coen of the Los Angeles Superior Court said at one point that Sloan’s blurry memories seem to be deceptive. Sloan had intended to use his Fifth Amendment privilege, but a prosecutor only allowed limited immunity.

The Fifth Amendment would have allowed Cle “Bone” Sloan to refuse comment on the grounds that it could incriminate him. On the other hand, prosecutors wanted his statement to be used along with surveillance footage. If prosecuted for the murder of Terry Carter, Suge Knight could get life in prison.
