Netflix has finally released the first trailer for its new show Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and it looks as weird and quirky as you might expect.

The show was created by none other than Tina Fey, along with some other folks from her old 30 Rock team.

Unbreakable Kimmy Shcmidt will star the one and only Ellie Kemper, who is best known for her roles in Bridesmaids, The Office, and a small bit role in 21 Jump Street, who will be playing the title role of Kimmy.

Kimmy is a 20-something year old girl who escapes a doomsday cult when she learns that the apocalypse actually never happened and decides to reclaim her life and start over in New York City.

It’s no surprise that you will see some familiar faces from 30 Rock in this trailer as Kimmy meets the strange people of New York City. Titus Burgress will be playing a Times Square robot performer and Jane Krakowski will be playing a high strung, self absorbed working mother who hired Kimmy as a nanny.

The cast also includes Lauren Adams, Sara Chase, Sol Miranda and Emmy winner Carol Kane. Tina Fey, Robert Carlock, Jeff Richmond, Jack Burditt and David Miner executive produce.

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt was originally set to air on NBC, but Netflix was able to nab it up this past November.

The show will be releasing the entire first season on Netflix this Mar. 6th, 2015. Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt has already been renewed for a second season, which should give us all hope that Tina Fey and her 30 Rock team have found another winning formula.
