Justin Bieber only wants one thing for his 21st birthday. No, it’s not a new car or a big bag of drugs. That’s right, he wants to be roasted by Comedy Central.

According to insiders, he actually asked for the show to roast him. The Biebs wants to be mocked and welcomes the challenge. He understands that he has made mistakes in his past and see’s the show as a form of therapy.

“For years I have wanted Comedy Central to roast me. They said only if I provided them w/ more material so for a year now I have worked hard,” Bieber wrote on Twitter following the announcement. “Finally after all that hard work for my 21st bday it’s happening. Thanks @RyanSeacrest & @ComedyCentral for the announcement. Let’s do it,” he added.

Is Justin Bieber finally growing up? It has only been a year removed since he got a DUI and was arrested for drag racing in Miami. But TMZ claims that his attitude has vastly improved over the last couple of months and he may no longer be the brat he once was.

Only time will tell if Justin truly knows what he is asking for. Comedy Central roasts can be brutal for its victims. Some past roastees include James Franco, Courtney Love, Charlie Sheen, High Hefner, and the late Joan Rivers. All of them handled themselves fairly well, but Justin Bieber has been known to be an emotional wild card.

Let us all hope that Justin enjoys the therapy he needs and finds himself in complete control next year. I know none of us want to get their houses egged.
