Reality star seen back on set the day after InTouch magazine posted a fake story claiming he's transitioning to become a woman.
InTouch magazine’s latest issue featured Bruce Jenner wearing lipstick and blush on its cover, and claimed to contain “Bruce’s Story: My Life As a Woman.” While the picture was revealed to actually be a doctored image of Dynasty star Stephanie Beacham, Jenner didn’t let the controversial rumors that he is secretly a ‘transwoman’ stop him from getting back to work on his E! reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians in Los Angeles the next day.
Inside Edition‘s Jim Moret revealed on Thursday, the day after the scandalous InTouch issue was released, that the cover photo was merely a Photoshopped image with Jenner’s face superimposed onto a woman’s body. Moret compared the magazine cover with the true photo of Beacham, and was surprised when the Dynasty star didn’t seem to be bothered by the doctored photo at all.
“I speak no lie. Bruce Jenner looks far lovelier than I do there,” joked Beacham. “I think it’s terribly funny. Things happen. How could I be cross? It’s the silliest thing that’s happened today.”
While she was able to find humor in the ridiculous situation, Beacham added that she thinks she deserves a “very large bouquet of pink flowers” from InTouch for using her body in their cover.
Jenner has not yet publicly reacted to the falsified image and story yet, but the reality star kept a low profile when he returned to work on his reality show on Thursday, showing up to the E! TV studio in a baseball cap and aviator sunglasses. However, an insider told TMZ that his ex-wife Kris is “outraged” by the publication.
“She has contempt for the magazine jumping to conclusions and then altering the image to fit its story,” said the insider. “It’s just mean to do whether or not it’s true.”
Even though the truth behind the InTouch cover has come out, the source who is quoted in the story stands by the statement that Jenner “will come clean in 2015 about transitioning,” and noted that the reality star been seen in public with polished nails, longer hair and Spanx in recent weeks.
‘When Bruce goes public, he wants to go big and come out as a transwoman on the cover of The Advocate, the ultimate LGBT magazine,’ claimed the source. “He wants to look as glamorous as possible – full makeup with a bold wardrobe.”
