A total of 26 cases of measles have been reported and linked to Disney parks in California. Most of the cases are individuals who attended Disneyland or Disney California Adventure between Dec. 15 and Dec. 20, as reported at philly.com.
The cases in California total 22. There are two in Utah and one each in Colorado and Washington. It is possible that some of those affected contracted the illness from others who had visited the parks. The California Department of Public Health confirmed the number of cases across the four states.
The most recent cases reported include three individuals in Southern California – one in Long Beach and two in San Bernardino County.
Disney is cooperating with health officials to further investigate the outbreak.
