Man pleads not guilty to break-in at Miley Cyrus’ home

He was charged with burglary, receiving stolen property, and grand theft.

A convicted burglar who was charged with breaking into Miley Cyrus home last month is pleading not guilty.

Rusty Sellner, 22, was arrested on Monday on charges of burglary, receiving stolen property, and grand theft, according to the Associated Press.

He faces seven years and eight months in prison if convicted.

Police say Sellner broke into the Los Angeles home of pop star Miley Cyrus on Dec. 16, where he stole property belonging to Cyrus and her brother. He has previously been convicted for burglary and evading arrest.

It would be the second burglary for Cyrus in just the last few months. Back in May, thieves stole clothes, purses, jewelry, and a 2014 Maserati from her San Fernando Valley home. Police arrested an Arizona couple in that case, who were sent to prison.

Meanwhile, Miley Cyrus paid tribute to Elvis Presley at a recent event, wearing an all-white outfit as the host of the opening of W magazine’s Shooting Stars exhibit. Her outfit featured an oversized gold buckle and pants that flared at the bottom, much like the King of Rock and Roll.

She said it “felt right” because it was recently what would have been his 80th birthday.
