This reality looks painful. Farrah Abraham, former star of MTV’s hit reality show Teen Mom, took to Twitter on Tuesday January 6 to reveal the terrifying results of plastic surgery gone wrong.

Abraham, whose Twitter account describes herself as an author, singer, and actor, posted pictures of herself with a grotesquely huge upper lip following an attempted lip injection. Captioned “Girlfriends don’t say I didn’t warn ya! #BOTCHED California #ER #fixit,” the 2-photo montage shows how Abraham’s upper lip has swelled to stick out further than her chin. She followed with a post of herself in profile comparing herself to a cartoon character, captioned, “Gotta love my new look.”

TMZ reports that Abraham, 23, says she was attempting to get a new procedure in which a plastic surgeon enhances the upper lip by putting an implant inside the skin instead of using fillers. While she claims she had researched the doctor carefully, she believes she had a major allergy reaction to the anesthetic used to prepare her lip.

Abraham is well known for her willingness to undergo plastic surgery, and admits to having had a breast enhancement, nose job, and chin job, all of which were completed without major complications. US Magazine reports Abraham will be seeing Tabasum Mir, a cosmetic surgeon featured on Bravo, to address the lip issue.

While Abraham has not yet updated her fans on her status, she appears to be all right: her Twitter feed is currently filled with her retweets of news coverage about the scare.
