Samsung is hoping that fans of its curved TVs will be eager to bring the “curved” experience to their home offices. The electronics manufacturer just announced the launch of the ATIV One 7 Curved, the first all-in-one PC with a curved screen. Samsung will premiere the 27-inch, full HD PC at the International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas on January 6-9.

The ATIV One 7 Curved will ship with a Core i5 processor, 8GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, along with USB 3.0 and HDMI ports, according to PC World. Samsung is banking on consumers finding that the PC’s 4000R curvature makes the screen feel even larger than its 27-inches, and provides a more immersive entertainment and gaming experience.

“The arched display of the ATIV One 7, along with top-of-the-line multimedia capabilities for rich sound and easy content sharing across devices, make this model stand out from the rest as the ultimate entertainment desktop,” said Gary Riding, a Samsung marketing VP, in a press release.

The ATIV One’s impressive multimedia features do not end with its curved HD display. The PC boasts two 10W stereo speakers that deliver a surround sound-like experience with Dolby Sound Effects and lossless audio transmission through APT-X technology. Notably, users will be able to play music from their smartphones through the PC’s speakers even when the PC is turned off, using Bluetooth Music Play 3.0.

Consumers with Samsung smartphones will have even more connectivity options. With SideSync 3.0, the ATIV One 7 Curved can receive phone calls and text messages forwarded directly from Samsung smartphones, and photos, music and videos can be stored on the ATIV One’s 1TB flash drive and accessed from other devices in the home.

The computer will be available for pre-order in early 2015 with an MSRP of $1,299.99.
