January 1 is the perfect day to curl up on the couch and do absolutely nothing, as chances are you were out celebrating the night before. Here’s a list of 10 shows to keep you company.
“Dating Naked” On VH1
VH1 will air all episodes of Season 1 of this naughty new reality show, premiering with the “Lost Episode” at 5 a.m. EST, and concluding with the special wedding episode at 3 p.m. EST.
“Fargo” On FXM
The new hit series will air in its entirety on FX’s sister network FXM, premiering at 2 p.m. EST.
“The First 48” On A&E
A&E’s crime series will air episodes beginning at 10 a.m. EST, concluding with a brand new episode at 9 p.m. EST.
“Futurama” On Comedy Central
Hang out with Leela, Fry and the gang for a series marathon on Comedy Central. Episodes of the animated series will start at 9:21 a.m. EST and end at 5:26 p.m. EST.
“Little Women: LA” On Lifetime
The marathon begins at 11 a.m. EST with the Season 2 opener airing at 8 p.m. EST, and episode 1 premiering at 9 p.m. EST.
“Married at First Sight” On FYI
Enjoy FYI’s “Married at First Sight” marathon. Episodes begin at 10 a.m. EST with a casting special, and conclude at 10 p.m. EST with a “6 Months Later” two-hour special.
“NCIS” On USA
Catch this crime-solving juggernaut on Jan. 1. USA Network airs a marathon starting at 6 a.m. EST with Season 11’s premiere episode from 2013, “Whiskey Tango Foxtrot.” Episodes continue through Friday at 3 a.m. EST.
“Portlandia” On IFC
“Portlandia” begins its fifth season on Jan. 8 – but fans can start watching now. The sketch-comedy series, with stars Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein, will air previous episodes starting at 6 a.m. EST on Thursday, Jan. 1, through Friday, Jan. 2.
“The Simpsons” On FXX
Have fun with Homer, Bart and the rest of the Simpsons family. FXX airs a marathon of “The Simpsons” all day long, starting at 12 a.m. EST on Jan. 1 and finishing at 10 p.m. EST with the 2007 “The Simpsons Movie.” Episodes of the Halloween specials, “Treehouse of Horror,” will also air throughout the day.
“The Walking Dead” On AMC
Season five of this hit series premieres on Feb 8, but AMC is rolling out a marathon of every single episode for fans right now. The New Year’s marathon began on Tuesday, Dec. 30, and runs through Saturday, Jan. 3 at 5 a.m. EST. If you’re up to ringing in 2015 with the zombie fright-fest, you can watch “Home” at 11 p.m. EST on Wednesday, Dec. 31.
