Detectives of the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department are looking for a man who drew a gun after becoming enraged over a mistaken Mcdonald’s drive-thru order.
Demetri Johnson, a 21-year-old Nashville resident, went to a local McDonald’s early Thursday morning and entered the drive-thru. The man placed his order, picked up his food and drove off without an issue, USA Today reported.
However, Johnson returned to the drive-thru shortly after and complained of a missing cheeseburger. After explaining the situation to the manager, Johnson was asked to park and the cheeseburger would be brought to his car.
Johnson waited outside for a few minutes before allegedly entering the restaurant with a pistol in hand. Police say he racked the pistol and demanded that the employees fix his order. He also demanded fresh fries and new soft drinks for himself and three women that were with him.
The party received their new items and left peacefully. No injuries were reported from the incident.
Police are now seeking Johnson on charges of aggravated assault. Court records indicate that Johnson has previously been arrested for weapons possession and theft.
