Henry David Thoreau once said, “The language of friendship is not words but meanings,” and former Friends co-stars Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow may have showed the world the true meaning of friendship on this past Monday’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! show.

Jennifer Aniston hit the stage during her publicity run promoting her new film Horrible Bosses 2 and Kudrow is advertising her return to the HBO series The Comeback, and Jimmy Kimmel decided to forgo the typical reunion moments to place them in a “Celebrity Curse Off.”

Kimmel warned the “faint of heart” to cover their ears for stand-off, and introduced the two as co-stars that might even be considered…friends. The two looked happy enough to see each other, but things got brazen when the game began.

A “Celebrity Curse Off” involves giving each participant five seconds to out-curse their opponent, and the winner is declared when one person fails to volley back an equally fitting flagrant insult. The affair was, of course, filled with beeps courtesy of ABC’s censure department, but during the melee’ Aniston went so far as to slip in a Greek insult and Kudrow turned to French to keep up with the X-rated battle of words.

Kudrow came out the winner after Aniston yelled out a pleasant insult that wasn’t spicy enough to get censured. Kudrow thanked her teenage son’s colorful vocabulary for giving her the edge over the recently engaged Jennifer Aniston, and Aniston left the whole world to wonder what is exactly are “snap pants.”
